This item was used by the Taiwan Governor-General’s Office during the Japanese period as a verification tool to check whether containers complied with volume standards. The set consists of 11 pieces, with the largest having a capacity of 1斗 (dō) and the smallest being 1勺 (sháo). The exterior of the container is inscribed with the words “Taiwan Governor-General’s Office,” providing evidence of its usage during that period.
